Happy Birthday Singapore!

:: Past VS Present ::
During schooling, National day to me means :
- Holiday day! No need to go school
- Performance on that day, half-day!
- Free goodies from MOE incl files with "hapi national day" logo.
- Singing National day songs every MOnday assembly instead of listening to principle's famous phrase "RESPONSIBILITY is the ability to response"

Now..working life.. National day means :
- Aiyah.. no half day.. go parade stil muz crawl to work the next day! sianz..
- More work cos need to clear work for the holiday since office close.

Nevertheless, i still love Singapore! =)

:: NDP ::

This year, i manage to go to both preview and actual day of the parade. wooOoohOooo.. LucKy mOi! =P

Preview : Attendence - Fio,Chupz,Jen,Ann
Preview was really fun! It once again proves - it doesnt matter where you go or wat you do, it matters most who u r with! =)
We were seated at the "Yellow" sector, the seating was considered good! THe fireworks, goody bag and parade was great!! Thks to the orGaniser! hehe..
We had sooo much fun tat night! We were like hungry ghosts after the parade and it almost looks like "GD BROTHERS" out from "THERE" touch wood* hehe.. =p



Actual Day : Attendence - Fio,Xiaoqiang,Ricky & Frenz
The atmosphere was really high on the actual day!
We were seated at the "blue" sector, the seating was not too good. With the fireworks behind us.. thank god we didnt not break out necks! Hehe.. Nevertheless, i can have a bird's eye view of the fireworks and it definately triggers lots of memories - memories that were once happiness, passion & emotions that will never be the same again.. Oops! Shoo! Back to NDP.. hehe.. Overall, this year, the parade was good and i love the fireworks and goody bags! Keke.. =p

Oh! Not forgetting the weird indian ma-ma whom i saw "mediating" in the "YOGA" position on our way home in the train! His head keep falling onto Xiaoqiang's shoulders (did i mention xiaoqiang seating beside this indian ma-ma?). Thank god he didnt drooool! hehe.. TO wake him up, xiaoqiang actually played the "ROOSTER" ringtone loudly! whahahaha... it was hilarous!! But unfortunately, guess it didnt work on him! lolx..
