June Updates..

Hehe.. since i dun update regularly, i'l just post the happenings in June that leave the most impression in me. :p

**A Gift**

Receive a sweet and thoughtful gift from Jef. Its a small pouch with a winnie the pooh pic in the middle. He took almost a week to sew the cross stitch himself.. That 傻瓜 was actually busy with his parade and training.. but still manage to do it.. - losing his sleep and rest in camp. This is the first time he is doing a cross stitch and he sure is clumsy with it! - had to buy more strings seperately as he had to redo many times till the strings provided had run out! hehe.. Im really touched by his sweet gesture. Its not the gift that matters, its the effort that means alot.

**A bicycle**

Jef & I bought a bicycle. The bicycle is almost 2wks old now.. hehe.. I knw.. its weird, i duno how to cycle but we've got a bicycle. He actually has a mountain bike, but the back of the bike cannot hold an additional seat. Sooo.. he decided to get another bicycle with a seat at the back so that he can ride me. The bicycle will be our main form on transport every weekend! 浪漫指数 100% !! ^.^~

**Foodelicious!!**

One of the wkend, Jef and i cycle to the Prata house located somewhere in Bishan. - sori, if wrong info, really have no sense of direction. Yum Yum!!The Prate House have all sorts of pratas available!! Its really interesting to see and munch!! We ordered an ice-cream prata, a cheese & egg prata and a kopichino. Its kinda of small and pretty EX.. the prices were not stated in the menu and it costs us about $7!! We felt abit cheated but then.. perhaps they want us order what we really wana eat first w/o looking a the prices so that we will really njoy ba..

Went to Redhill Market last friday with XQ.

We ordered chee kuah and carrot cake.. goody goody!! As usual, im floating in the air it melt in my mouth.. wooo... I Ximply love the carrot cake at ang sua!!

Hmph.. really pissed off with this coffeeshop located near my office area. I felt cheated! ="(

This place is really a big NO NO for meals!!! My usual lunch kakis and i decided to try out a new enviroment for lunch.. and decided to go this coffeeshop located near our office. I went to the mixed rice stall.. There was no pricing or menus.. as i go on wondering if i should order , a man infront of me ordered a $2 meal. His plate consists of toufu + veg + curry chicken. With that, i assumed it shdnt be very ex.. and so... I ordered mixed rice -2 kinds of eggs + chicken pieces (note that there are no meats at all in the egg, and the chicken pieces looks abit like those serve on chicken rice). The auntie charged me $3.50!! OMG!! Its worst than foodcourt price lohr! I asked the auntie how they charged... and she just took the $5 from my hand and proceed with the change.

ME : "Auntie, how you charged huh?"

AUNTIE: "Oh.. pause. er.. pause. U order meat ma.. meat more expensive."

ME: "Huh.. just now that curry chicken not meat ar?"

AUNTIE: "Different lahr.. different cooking.. " Faster put the change on the table and act bz..

I feel cheated lohr!! wah kao.. I went back to my table and tell my colleagues. They were also shocked at the charges. The rice was so little and the chicken.. omgeee.. i can even count that there were only 4pieces lohr!

Well.. i tot mine wasnt that bad afterall when my colleague start to complain hers.

ME: "LALA... i kena cheated.. hurrr...why u take so long?"

LALA: "I more kena cheated lohr.. i ordered slice fish soup with noodles. Menu says $3, the man take $3.50 from me.. i came back to table earlier then u but then realise there was no noodles in the soup at all!! So i went back and tell the man. The man act blur and redo the bowl with noodles. I was pissed off already lohr, they seriously got attitude problem"

ME : "Wah lao... then wat happen to the $3.50 le?"

LALA: "I asked them.. they unwillingly give me back 50cents. They say cos sliced fish soup is $3.50 , with noodles is $3."

ME: "HUH! U mean the noodles will make the fish soup taste horrible ar tats why more ex?"

Wat an encountered! Im still rather puzzled abt the fish soup thingy till now.. its been abt a wk liao.. really feel cheated by these pple.. 乱乱来的.. hmph.. nvm, 1st visit and the last.
