My body was torn into two after the yoga class last night. My hands seems to detach from my body and my legs seems to be walking left when my brain command it to move right.

Its the last 2nd class, and the instructor insists that we should "graduate" and practice the more advance moves. As i finally manage to drag myself home, a "smiling car" greeted me at the car park. The car looks pure white in the dark and it just look as if he is smiling at me and giving me a pat..

I've fallen in love with this smiley car.. hyuk hyuk..

I receive my advance birthday present today from ebeekia.. think he got pek chek with me for always using his harddisk, he bought mi a pocket drive. He said to take it as an advance birthday present.. after "complaining" to him that i am only worth 12GB, he finally agreed that its a pre-present. hehe.. so im looking forward to the "actual" day present and a "Post" bday present. Muwhahahhaa...

My new pock-drive which i name it 铜罗烧 (since it looks like doreamon's fav tibit).
A new date to mark on my calender - my 铜罗烧's birthday, today, 29AUG07. hyuk hyuk..

Cant stand this.
The retreat was thrown to us last min.
Somehow.. duno why i was rope in.
I didnt mind initially.. since i like these stuffs.
But..
I really mind if its last minute.

We were told to plan a training retreat at JB.
We have no choice, we have no say. We didnt even have a chance to chose the dates.
3 wks were wat we had, to play about before the retreat date.
Quickly, we manage to get everything fallen into place.. hotel rooms, programs, logistics were all done. But chairman says "NO" to our programs. He was not happy with the lucky draws,theme and games which we have cracked our brains to come out with (even thou we strongly believe that our colleagues will have abit of fun).
All he wanted was a simple dinner, no prizes or so, just 1 or 2 games to keep the night going. Fine. It was a waste of our time, there was no need for us if thats the case..any tom,dick or harry cld have done it. He could have help us by telling us whats the budget and what he wanted before we go ahead to do the planning. But all he answered was always this "i leave it to you guys"
Need to redo the programs again. Wasted our effort, wasted our precious time.

How i wish thou' that the story will just end there.. but we have a dramatic evening yesterday when Hyatt hotel JB told us that there were no rooms for us. They have made a mistake ..
BUT we have to pay the price.
arrggh...
Left with only 5days! With lots of sudden meetings & tensions.. finally had it approved to held at Rasa Sentosa. We had to drop by this afternoon to rackie the place. The normal work for me is piling up on my desk rapidly. Im dead.

Chairman says tat dinner program must be good to keep the people there.
Damn..
need to brush up our programs (the one which was rejected earlier) alittle..
need to get the prizes and costings done. Everything must be within the budget.
Worst still, there are people in the committee who chairman thinks highly of, only knw how to tok no action. I've really got no respect for this kind of pple. eee...

Only 3more days! 1 more day before the meeting to finalise everything.

I've got lots of datelines tomorrow. Its definately going to be a super bz day just for my normal workload.. BUT tomorrow gotta go get the prizes, get them wrap up etc. Where got time..

Went to Ash's engagement yesterday evening with Abby,Steve and Mervyn.

As expected, Ash is the first among us to settle down. My "daughter" looks so lovely and "grown up" in her dress and makeup. Sobx sobx..
PS : She likes to call me "mummy" back in the RCL days..

**Side Track abit, suddenly i remember the song "who lets the dogs out!" Muwhahah.. RCL peeps will understand wat it means! :P **

Her wedding will be held on 01Mar2008. I really feel happy for her.. her hubby looks like a kind, decent chap who will take gd care of her. May they stay loving and happy always..

Celebrated Mummy's birthday last wkend at 中国茶楼.
Its a buffet dinner that comes with a bowl of Sharkfin per head. The spread includes my fav dimsum(part of the reason why i chose this restaurant..oops!) and a variety of seafood. The service is pleasant but its a little too warm with the spotlights.. hmm.. seems like my family have enjoyed the gathering which was a relieve for me since Jef and i were the organisers. It was quite tedious but manage to get the cake in the resturant earlier in the morning to "pop" a surprise for mum. (mummy dun usually get cakes for her birthdays you see). The evening was lovely, guess we shd do this more often.. =)

Thks to XQ, manage to attend the actual National Day Parade 07. Hehe..
The atmosphere was great and i ximply love the goody bag!! Its trendy and the little fan inside is just so so cool!!! I always love attending NDPs.. this is the day where all Singaporeans who gather together will wear the nation's color and pledge.
The other fellow Singaporeans who sat around me are all very nice people.. we smiled, laughed and sing songs together.. it feels really great when our voices blend together as one. So touching!! soBx sobx.. The parade is fantastic, especially the SAF display. I do miss the Kallang wave thou...

Dajie have resigned from S2T in mid of JUL. She is really a good senior who is always willing to share and teach her juniors. Going to miss our nonsense liao! Hope we'l continue to kp in touch.. sighs.. reali duno wat our boss is doing.. keep those pple who cannot work and those who work, he doesn't seems to cherish. Somehow my colleagues are right, why company is willing to pay so much more than our current pay only when we tender? Tat means we are actually worth tat much but .. wats the point when they only offer when we tender? Pointless liao ma.. sighs..

Celebrated the birthday for the 3birthday boys - KJ,Jack,Steve.

We had a K session at the 10Dollar KTV shop located at Chinatown.

Its really cheap lohr!! It includes free flow of drink, snacks and a bowl of Sharkfin soup per head - Everything for just $10NETT!! Good deal ehh.. hehe... hope the boys have njoyed themselves with the arrangements and all... ooh.. im still waiting for them to bribe me so that i wont post their pole dancing here... hyuk hyuk.. EVI ... :P

Run run!!

Went jogging last evening.
Finally manage to jog 10rounds of the stadium w/o stopping after 1mth of building up.
For those who do not knw the stadium well, 1round = 400M , 10rounds X 400M = 4KM.
This may not be a very long distance for many pple. But it is an achievement for myself. I've never been a long distance runner even when i was an athlete back in Sec. I was more of a sprinter and my coach sighed when he had to trained me for long distance. I have not been jogging/running since i fell sick in Poly, not considering those occasional jogs that last for less than 20minutes in the park. It feels good to be back on the tracks again with my heart pumping fast as i rub off the beads of sweats on my nose. Thanks to Jef, i began picking up my jogging routines when he "psycho" me to join the Mizuno Run in May.





The Mizuno Run is for charity purposes (i really dun remember what it was exactly for). It was held on 22JUNE at Bedok Reservoir. - hehe.. need to backtrack again. XQ and I took part in the 5KM fun run, while Elvin and Jef took the 10KM Men Competitive run. I started building up myself and thk god i manage to complete the 5KM run with jogging + abit of walking. I was very frustrated with the run and didnt really njoy myself. Firstly, it was a rainy day and the reservoir was muddy and wet. The organisers did a bad planning on the routing and startoff. Within minutes the whole place was flooded with more than 800 participants and we were force to stroll. When the run was completed, the goody bag queue was chaos and the van that took our belongings was in a mess. Everyone had a hard time locating their bags.
The organisers for the event really cannot make it lohr.. sighs..

Anyway, i have signed up for the GREAT EASTERN WOMEN'S RUN in OCT. Hope that the run will be much organise and will be more fun. I manage to get Abby,Cindy and her fren to join me. Its about 2 more mths before the run, im going to build up myself and increase my speed alittle. I want not only to complete the 5KM run but with a little speed as well. Its all in the mind ....

For the first time after 3yrs plus.. i finally clock out yesterday at 1802hrs!! MuWhahhaha.. Ok i knw im like exaggerating, but reali lohr.. this is the first time!!
hehe.. im usually either late for gatherings or the earliest so far is at 1820hrs.
Woohoo!! Good start for my bo-chap attitude! *A pat to myself, well done fio* =)
