:: Cant quit smoking? ::

I have decided to share this as i feel that it is really very motivating to those people who wants to quit smoking.

Just 3weeks back, My dad fell seriously ill.. he found himself to have difficulty in breathing and we had to bring him to the hospital. The docs at SGH were very efficient in recuperation and gave him all the care he needs. Fever come and go, heart was weak. Doc had to take risks to do tests on him. Minutes seems like days, hours seems like months and week seems like years.

Finally, they diagnose his 2main veins were cloaked. The doc had to quickly do a surgery for him. We were grateful that the operation was carried out smoothly. My dad still has one vein left uncloaked. The docs are afraid that his heart might not take it, therefore we had to wait till he had fully recovered before they consider to do the second operation.

Before my dad discharge from the hospital, the doc make my dad swear that he will quit smoking. My dad havent been smoking for the past 3weeks including the time he was in the hospital. He was a heavy smoker and started smoking since he was 16. He is 63years old today. I am so proud of him. :)

:: Ipoh trip Mar 08 ..:

Went for a short Ipoh trip with HLP & frens over the long weekend.
Our annual Malaysia gathering.. haha..

Hmm..
This is the first time i experience 3 cars driving up to Malaysia together.
Jen, Jess, Jinan and I took a coach on Friday evening to Malacca to collect Jess's car from his brother. The whole journey was pretty smooth even thou the "MAS" issue was still going on. The 4 of us finally arrive in KL and stayed overnight at Jess's fren house at wee hours. With all the tiptoeing and silent laughs here and there, it was really difficult to fall sleep. :P

Uncle Ching was our tour guide at Ipoh. He was quite a kay-long guide lohr.. haha.. always givin us wrong infos.. lOls.. Ipoh is nice, a feel of kampong and the food is really cheap!!! Im already missing the dim sums we had.. droooools~

I tink i shdnt bore anyone with soo much wordins, probably i will post more pics later. Pics explains beta .. :) Overall, the trip was fun and rather interesting even thou there were some minor accidents here and there.. Thanks to our dearest tour guide-Uncle Ching, and oh course, our safe F1 drivers - Ric,Jess,Darren. keke.. Looking forward to our next annual Malaysia trip! Cheeeers! :D

Fio : Personally i dun drink coffee but when i taste it, i find it nice lahr..

A super cheap fruit punch. Really fruity!
Fio : It comes with real fruit and i mean alot of fruits. Definately not like those we get in SG.

Traditional Ipoh Rojak - complimentary from Uncle Ching's dad stall.
Fio : Its really yummy!

The most highly recommended Chicken daogei.
Fio : Actuali nothing special leh.. hmm.. just a plate of daogeis + seperate plate of chicken..
BUT .. Their daogeis does taste nicer than those in SG.. somehow ..

Fio : Really cant stand the so many daogeis!!!
The most famous - Ipoh Hor Fun.
Fio : Go Ipoh sure must try their Ipoh hor Fun.. Their hor fun is really nice; "smooth" and tasty.
But horr .. its really getting on my nerves... cos more DAOGEIS!!

@ the end of trip : Fio has dao gei nightmares!!! Dao gei ban for minimum 6mths sentence.

PS : There are actually more food pics for the yummmy dimsums.. but i use jen's camera as my was flat and i didnt bring any charger.. tink jen will take at least 6mths before she will send me the pics. oops.... :x

:: Jeff Chang's Concert ... "

Attended Jeff Chang's concert 2weeks back.
The concert is designed and presented in a kind of "artistic" feel.. I tot im having some art lessons as the screens showed some famous painters' works. lOls.. :P

Jeff can really sing live lo!! His voice is really .. WOW!
I really love his classic songs like "过火", "不要对他说", "别怕我伤心", "我是真的爱你" ... TWO THUMBS UP!!! :) Ohya, and not forgetting the Chinese Orchestral.. they played well! Overall, I did enjoyed the concert but if given a chance again i will probably buy the cheapest ticket instead. The seating CMI lo.. :(

OOhh... im so addicted to her songs! Nice lo.. :)
Joanne is a new singer in Taiwan.. her songs incl a mixed of English and Chinese. They are smoothing and tranquil.. feels like jazzz... :) Even my dad says its nice, thou he know nuts about what she is singing! hmm.. maybe this is the effect after "forcing" him to listen to her songs the whole afternoon. lOls..
