:: Updates for HK Trip ::

:: Updates for HK Trip ::

Whew.. have finally finish upload and compiling the fhotos. hehe..

I had a great trip with jef. The trip was sort of a last minute thingy but glad that things turn out fine. I've won the 6nights hotel free stay in HK which incl daily breakfast, car trsf, HKD3000 meal voucher at the resturants/bars in any Regal htl in HK.. The offer was just soo cool!! I only spend abt SGD300 on the air-tickets & about SGD400 on the shopping/meals/transport!! Hehe.. save quite alot! :p The trip was definately a good break for jef and i. We visited most of the tourist attractions and had lots of fun eating out afternoon high-tea at those tea-house seen on tv. We spend a day in Shenzhen, it was quite a nice experience reali, but i tink im just not used to the culture. The shops were all desperate for biz and most of the time, they grab you by the hand and ask you to buy - we hated that. Oh ya, i met Karen! She brought us around to Dayushan, The Peak and we had Taiwan "ma lai" steamboat on the first day! We laugh alot during the day but we could hardly talk after we had the steamboat! - believe we all have lips like hotdog (reminds me of ebeekia.. oops!) !! Hehe.. The trip is sooo relaxing and fun that jef and i just hope that we can extend another few more days!

Hmm.. but i tink i wont go HK again.. at least not for the nxt 5years. I find that the culture and shopping its very much alike to SIN. - watever we can find in hongkong, we can almost find in SIN. The hotels there are definately v EX nowadays.. so.. wont KIV for a trip for the nxt 5yrs.. unless i've got free vouchers/tickets again! :p

** Photos **

Had a nice "workout" at Dayushan. Lolx.. very tiring but fruitful. We can see the Buddha statue every part we go!!

The peak is nice.. i love the breath-taking view of HK. However, much alike to SIN, its lots of buildings, buildings and buildings!!

OK.. i love this wax museum! We took loads of funny phOtos! Some too ma-lu liao.. cannot post here.. ="p

I love the Disneyland to bits!! I don't quite understand when some pple commented that the service is like shit.. their service was pleasant and the shows were interesting! I love the 3D Magic Mickey show.. We need to wear the 3D glasses and when donald fell into the sea, there will be real water splashing onto us and when aladdin flies on his magic carpet, we can feel the wind! Its really cool and very real!! Hehe.. We took hundreds of photos but cannot post everything here.. later u guys will be too bored.. haha.. the fireworks at night was pretty & lomantic.. ~

We did alot of pre-caution before entering into Shenzhen. All my colleagues advise that the place is very unsafe - lots of robberies etc. We felt the same way too when we arrived. We did quite alot of shopping.. the stuffs are really cheap!!

Romancin @ Stars Ave.. thou's its drizzling alittle.. but its still.. loooomantic... :")

It is pretty easy to get around in HK... initially Jef and i were alittle confused with the MTR system between Kowloon and HOngkong island but manage to sort it out in the end. The airport Xpress is really really EX!! It costs us about SGD20 to for 2stops!! brr.. kena cheated.. We had good meals - sharkfin.. etc.. thks to the hotel meal voucher! =) We even have spare voucher to visit the bar.. haha.. We had a tea-break at one of the tea-house. Its really interesting.. there was this "anything" drink on the menu. We ordered 3 - since we cant make up our mind.. and it came with 3types of bubble tea lookalike. haha.. hmm.. i miss eating the "chu qian yi ding noodle!"

:: Joke of e day!! ::

:: Joke of the day!! ::

Juz happen to saw this forwarded email.. i laugh out aloud when in the office! hehe..
Hope this can cheer you guys a little too! =)

1. A true story from the Japanese Embassy in US:
Prime Minister Mori was given some basic English conversation training before he visits Washington and meets with President Bill Clinton. The instructor told Mori:" Prime Minister, when you shake hand with President Clinton, please say 'how are you'. Then Mr Clinton should say "I am fine, and you ?"Now you should say 'me too'. Afterwards we translators will do all the work for you." It looks quite simple, but the truth is ...when Mori met Clinton, he mistakenly said : "Who Are You ?". Mr Clinton was a bit shocked but still managed to react with humor :"Well, I am Hilary's husband, ha ha..." Then Mori replied confidently "Me too, ha ha ha.." Then there was a long silent moment in the meeting room.

2. One Chinese person walks into a bar in America late one night and he saw Steven Spielberg. As he was a great fan of his movies, he rushes over to him, and asks for his autograph. Instead, Spielberg gives him a slap and says"You Chinese people bombed our Pearl Harbor, get out of here." The astonished Chinese man replied"It was not the Chinese who bombed your Pearl Harbor, it was the Japanese". "Chinese, Japanese,Taiwanese, you're all the same," replied Spielberg. In return, the Chinese gives Spielberg a slap and says"You sank the Titanic, my forefathers were on that ship." Shocked, Spielberg replies "It was the iceberg that sank the ship, not me." The Chinese replies, "Iceberg, Spielberg, Carlsberg, you're all the same."....
This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition>in Britain.
