Work is crazy these few days.. Tues was a nightmare esp 2 of my buddies took urgent leave. Hope it will be beta next week.. I tink i honestly need a break..

These few days keep hearing lots of sad stuffs abt marriage.. the news came from frens' fren tat kind of stuff. Heard a few breakups after dating for few years and even one who was suppose to ROM, cancelled the event. Also, heard of one who is in the mid of divorce bcos the guy had an affair.. so sad lo. Simply dont understand why pple can say "i love you" but meant it only for that second. Its not just emotions but its also means responsibility ya.. I've heard of some who even get married today, and got a divorce just 1week later. Seems like the word "everlasting", "till the end of time" or fairytales like "happily ever after" are nothing. Compared to the past, marriage seems more fragile now. Its actually quite depressing to hear so much of this. hmm.. am i havin some pre marriage down sydrome kind of thingy?

Its freaking hot lately. I feel like im melting everytime i step out of the house. *sweat*

Went to Mind Cafe last Sunday to laze with the gerls and as usual, i nv fail to have fun with them around. :)

We played quite a number of board games but i notice we like to play games that requires us to express or act more than those which requires to burn our brain cells. Played Taboos, the vegetable card game etc..ohya! and i just ximply cant forget abby's "toufu" act. hehehehe.... :P

:: Shared toilet @ public area - forbia .. ::

Met up with cin & the gerls yesterday @ Bugis. Its been ages since our last catch up. Its great to see them again! As usual.. the 4 of us went blabbering non-stop, like market .. =P


We went to eat "煮炒" at the kopitiam at Bras Brasah. The food was yummmmmy!!! Love the "gu lu yok"!! Its so 'friendly" to my teeth.. hehe.. i dun usually like meats lo cos beri hard to chew. But this one is reaaaaaali nice! :)


After the yummy dinner, we went to TCC to chill.. I ordered the "calming spirit" tea. It is peppermint tea with lavendar and duno wat tea leaves.. hehe.. i love the smell of the tea and it does have some "calming" effect.. hehe.. duno isssit im tinking too much or it reali helps. :P



After too much of tea, i went to the ladies. Jimmy highlighted to me that the toilet its shared between gents and ladies, only one toilet. So i went.. and when i reach there, i saw the door was 1/4 ajar. Without much thinking, i push the door hard but my eyes were looking at the floor to watch out for wet floors. As i was about to step in, i look up and saw tat there was another man starring at me. My eyes widened. Oh man.. feeling my face hot, i quickly run back to my seat and i heard a loud bang, followed by a door locked sound. The waitress saw what had happened and she giggled. Told the grp abt it and they laughed so hard!!! Jimmy even commented tat the guy was not "toilet trained"! whahaha.. Aiyoooh.. i knw that im blushing even thou i did not see ANY parts of his body.. only look straight into his eyes. It can still be quite embarrasing lohr..

I dun understand what the hell the guy was thinking when he was relieving and leaving the toilet door ajar. If he did close the door, but didnt lock, probably i will feel that its my fault as i shd knock first. But but.. he nv even close the door lohr..it was left ajar and tats why im confident tat there is no one inside the toilet mahr.. oh man.. *roll eyes*

:: Nims Island ::

Watch Nims Island with Su & XQ last tuesday.

We choose Tuesday because we have the popcorn membership card and it cost us only $6.50 each. Hehe.. so aunties.. =P

Nims Island is abt a girl and her dad who lives in a volcano island in a deserted part of the world. Her dad is a scientist.. and the both live happily on the island with the own way of surivial. Quite interesting.. then there was this writer alexandra rover who writes exciting and adventurous stories but she herself has lots of probs. She nv step out of the hse and really loves cleaniness. Somehow, the girl and Alex Rover were connected and there were lots of funny and cute scenes.. hehehe.. but im not going to review all here. guess it will be beta to watch the show. There were lots of animals in the show.. super cute!! hehehehe.. Therefore i will rate tis as erm.. 3.5stars! :)

:: Disappointment with her.. AGAIN.. ::

To all those i keep repeating my complaints to - sori but i really cant stop complaining! :x

SHE is totally impossible lohr!! The worst worst x10 leader i ever ever seen!!!

Ok.. this is wat happen. *Clock turns 2weeks back*

Sar was having some problem at work. She did one of her clients a kind favor by helping her with the church grp travel to aus and it really never pay off to be kind! Total about 45pax. The toopid airline XX (dun tink i shd state the airline here cos im not too sure if its right to, so beta nt get myself into trouble) got her into some trouble but auto-cancelling her flights due to some toopid rules that they have implemented into the system. Note that NOBODY in the company know of tat rule.

Of course, the client was mad at us. She refuse to accept the explanation and insisted that we held responsible. She wants Sar to make things right again w/o changing anything from the original incl the airfare. Thats tough!

After a week of struggling here and there.. Sar was havin a hard time as the client called every half hourly as if by doing this, we will be able to solve the prob instantly! She is so pushy and practically scolding everyone who picks up her call! Some nasty words she used - F***, stupid.. She's probably not right at her mind?!!?

My poor Sar was so stressed that she broke down. I can understand why. After being scolded by it client so many times in a day not sayin it went on for a week! Our 24hrs duty officer receive her call last Friday after work and insisted that either Sar or YY (someone in my team) to call her immediately. Sar was in a class, unable to call back and YY refused to call client simply bcos there is nothing she can do, and she dun want to be harassed by her. ...... i reali duno wat to say. I mean we are in service line, at least we shd just call back and let her scold rather then making things difficult for our 24hrs duty officer lohr.. and furthermore, she is obligated to standby 24hours!! #^$&&%#*&*#*

My sales personnel receive that client's call and got the shit from her too. After trying their very best to solve the issue, the situation dun seem too good and my sales personnel suggested to YY that she and YY should pay a visit at the client's office and sort things out. YY was pissed when she heard that and told my sales personnel off! She was probably shouting at my sales personnel as i can even hear her voice even i was seated further away from them. I was told that YY said its non of her probs. OMG! I cant even believe she said that lohr.. She is our head, suppose to help us solve our issues, be with us, guide us.. I mean its also her responsibility when things happen cos we under her ma.. but then.. i see non of this. She even push all stuffs to Sar.

Luckily, we manage to half solve the issue today with the help of XX airline and also my sales personnel.

When one problem was still running, i created another problem. oops.. :x

Another airline ZZ, change their rule in ticketing and i issued the tickets in error. Note that no one i have asked, was aware of this! I'm to bear at least $3000 if the airline is going to "fine" us. (note to word - at least) YY felt smth was wrong when she sign the tickets but she is not sure of it. Instead of voiding my ticket to minimise error, she leave it as it is and found out the prob the next day.... After telling me my error, we tried to crack our brains but less than 1hr, she give up and tell me not to care about it and wait for the "fine" to come in. OMG! Again, her actions disappoint me. How can she just leave the error as it is when we all know that its going to cost us a bomb when the "fine" comes in later? Shdnt we try to solve the prob? After feeling down for 1 day, i decided to ignore her and approach my manager for help. Thanks to her and some other colleagues like Ken, Lala, FN who tried their best to help me, and not forgetting my very understanding traveller (how i wish there are more pple like him) we manage to solve it. Whew.. so no $3000 "fine"!

I just feel disappointed in her leadership. If she is to remain in that position, but not contributing to the team in any ways, is such a shame. To me, she is probably just another pretty vase, can talk bombastic English, a NATO and somehow know how to please the pple at the top. When she reprimended my other colleagues for not doing a good job at work, she shd first do a self-reflection. Seriously, she arent any beta. I mean, before one have the right to reprimend or comment on another person, one shd look at oneself in the mirror. She has not service standard - definately! NO sense of responsiblity, NO sense of urgency, NOT a good team player. AQUA team would probably be destroyed by her.. its a matter of time. As usual, i will tell myself to forgive and forget... honestly i will try! But.. i totally lost respect for her. At least for now, i know that if i have any issues, i will solve myself..

:: Feel so angry but yet.. nothing i can do ... ::

Jef and i were riding to TPY yesterday evening. We were waiting for the traffic to turn green when i saw something disgusted. :(

There was an old lady with a bulky trolley crossing the road.
When she was crossing half-way, one of the plastic bag that was hang at the side of the road tore. Some used cans and other small items dropped.. the poor old lady was struggling with her trolley, the torn plastic bag and those stuffs that were dropped on the road.

There were a few ppl that were crossing the road and they saw wat happened.
The disgusted part was they look at the dropped items but NON of them stop by to help her. Seems like they all only know how to use"EYE POWER". One of the passerbys ws a young chap wearing shirt and pants! Sickening lohr! The old lady struggled quite a while and finally manage to pick all up and have to try to faster rush to the end point cos the green man was flashing..

Sooooo disgusted with these pple.. if its $100 notes dropped on the floor, i wonder if anybody will help?! I just feel that it wont take even 1 minute to help her, but yet nobody lend a helping hand. feel so sad lo... :(

:: Labour day @ Sentosa ::

Went to Sentosa with my family today..

The trip is almost FOC cos sis is a staff at UnderWater World.

Visited UnderWater World, Dophine Lagoon and 4D Magix.

UnderWater World changed so much. I used to work there selling bubble tea few years back.. hehe.. those were the days. :) (To Su & Steve: I really miss the Cornetto Ice-creams and the days we had working @ Sentosa.)

There were more different species of fishes and new technology were implemented as well.Saw some interesting stuffs like "Decorator crab" - crabs who likes to use attractive stones and put in on their shells so that they can camo from the predators.. "Blue Angels" - small fishes which have a transparent body, it needs to be in very low temperature and give out a red glow. And.. there is this shark egg small display where they show real shark eggs and its growth process. Really interesting..! The Dugong which was still a baby when i stop work @ UWS, has grow so big!! Oh.. and not forgetting my fav stingray @ touch pool. :)

Went to Dophine Lagoon to watch the Dophine show.
The Pink Dophines are just so so so cute!!! Pink Dophines are not pink when they are born. They are actually grey in color and slowly turn pink as they matured.

4D Magix is so cool! Its actually a short flim of about 20mins. We were seated in a theatre and given a 3D glasses each. The flim is abt pirates. Its pretty interesting as the images seems to b very close to me.We felt the wind @ the ship, the water when things fell into the sea, the chairs shaking when it hit something hard and the little ants bites @ our legs on the spider scenes. It was just so so real! Poor Mingyi got quite a scare.. she was basically putting her hands on her faces and sobbing a little.. Dad and mum were so fascinated by the technology. They were giggling away.. feel so happy to see them njoying themselves.

The day ended with a nice yummy super late lunch @ the Seah Imm hawker centre. It was so so so fun.. with the kids and all. thou a little tired! The kids fell aslp on their way back home. :)

:: Prank or litter bug? ::

I was nearly killed by either a prank or a litter bug on Monday.

Jef park his bike under a block of flats to get some stuffs.
After a long war at work, i was too tired to follow him and so i waited at the bike.

I was dreaming away (as usual), when suddenly something fall and hit the ground near by leg.

It was an ice-bag. Someone have filled the bag with ice and throw down the building. Im not too sure if it was intentionally or it was just a litter bug.. but it was definately no joke! The ice was smashed and some cold water was splashed on my leg.
It was probably only 2cm away before it hit me directly. It could have crashed on my head!! Im so pisssed lohr!! Arghh.. #%#@$&#&% *curse and swear*

Hehe.. i was a little tight up lately.. therefore no chance to get him a proper present. Mum says most chinese are "padang", cannot give presents later than his bday. Su and i have come out with a "voucher" for him. hehe.. he can tink thru what he wants to get and make a redemption later! lOls..

I feel alittle paiseh actually. I always njoy shopping presents for frens, organising their birthday party! Really sorry deary, hope he dun get mad at me for this.
